For decades, Abt Global has worked tirelessly to combat homelessness. That’s why we’re proud to have contributed sound evidence—including our 2017 Annual Homelessness Assessment Report (AHAR) to Congress (Part 1)— that informed Home, Together, the new federal strategic plan recently published by the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness. The plan provides a clear vision and framework for service providers, public private partnerships, and federal, state and local agencies to better support and enhance the programs that are helping to end homelessness in America.
“From our work on the Family Options study to our annual homelessness assessments to Congress, we know policymakers, program administrators and community partners need rigorous, high-quality data to drive decisions,” said Meryl Finkel, Ph.D., principal associate. “The new strategy is a pathway informed by collaborators across the country. We are proud to be a part of this important development to prevent and end homelessness.”
