Paul Anninos

Vice President, Environment and Natural Resources

Bio

Paul Anninos, who has more than 30 years of business and operational leadership in the public and private sectors, is Abt’s vice president and leader of Abt’s domestic U.S. environment business, including environmental program management, data and technology solutions, regulatory development and technical assistance, natural resource management, and climate and energy programs.

Before joining Abt, Anninos served as chief growth officer and vice president for business development and marketing at REI Systems. He led growth initiatives that helped to establish REI as a leading information technology and business solutions provider, significantly expanding the company’s government business and nearly tripling its revenues to $90 million.
 
Prior to this, he spent more than a decade at ICF International, where he quickly rose from a project manager to senior vice president. Among his many roles, Anninos led ICF’s Information Technology Consulting Business Unit, helped shape the corporate business development organization, and directed business development and strategic programs for its major business units, helping to support ICF’s growth to more than $700 million in revenue.

Anninos’s public service career included 15 years serving local, state and federal government agencies, including the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Marine Fisheries Service,  Virginia Marine Resources Commission, and Virginia Beach Wetlands Board.
