Hadiza Soumaila is a medical entomologist, biologist, and scientist with more than 15 years of global experience in the field entomological surveillance for diseases such as malaria, Rift Valley fever, and yellow fever. She has substantial experience in vector-borne diseases and served as head of the Vector Control Unit of Niger’s National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) for more than 13 years. She has taught biological sciences, hematology, parasitology, and entomology at the Niger National School of Public Health for more than 20 years.

Matthew Trombley has a Ph.D. in economics with concentrations in health and applied econometric methods. He has extensive experience designing and conducting evaluations for the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), including analyses of historically underserved populations.

Caroline G. Staub, Ph.D., is an analytical and strategic international development professional with 10-plus years leading programs in climate change adaptation and resilience, environmental science, natural resources management, sustainable agriculture, and food security. Her work tends to address finite, fragile, and/or remote geographical settings. She has extensive experience leading cross-functional, multi-cultural teams, trainees, and public/private partnerships in support of projects that incorporate critical thinking and capacity building to inform course corrections and ensure accountability and sustainability.

Lawrence Buron is an applied economist specializing in housing policy and the impact of government programs on labor market and quality-of-life outcomes of individuals and communities. An experienced leader of large-scale research and evaluation projects, he has led evaluations of the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV), HOPE VI, post-disaster housing options, and community redevelopment programs. He directs a random-assignment study of 36-month outcomes from 29 Health Profession Opportunity Grants and other innovative education and training programs to improve the career pathways and economic well-being of low-income, low-skilled workers.

Julie Sabol started her career in advertising and product placement for Macy's. After a few years in the commercial market, she began her 26-year career in designing social marketing campaigns, public health education materials, and consumer advocacy programs for the federal government.  A hallmark of her expertise, Ms. Sabol brings a blend of strategic thinking, evidence-based insights, and target audience positioning to develop robust multimedia campaigns and digital products.
