National Environmental Justice Conference & Training Program 2023

Climate change affects everyone, but it exacerbates existing inequities in disadvantaged communities, which are disproportionately affected by pollution, flooding, drought, and other impacts. The 2023 National Environmental Justice Conference and Training Program brings together community members, academia, the private sector and federal, state, and local officials to examine the state of environmental justice and share best practices. The focus of this year’s conference is “Enhancing Communities Through Capacity Building and Technical Assistance.”

Abt helps government agencies and communities mitigate climate impacts by applying our expertise in physical and biological sciences, risk assessment, economics, policy, and data analysis, and some of our experts will be onsite and available to meet.
