The Climate Economic Analysis for Development, Investment and Resilience (CEADIR) project is hosting a webinar as part of a series entitled, Navigating the Climate Economy: Investing for Growth and Resilience. CEADIR helps governments, USAID missions, and the private sector shift to low-emission, sustainable, and climate-resilient development by bringing together rigorous economic analysis and scaling up public-private financial assistance.This month, the CEADIR Series will discuss, "Assessing and Reducing the Environmental Effects of Rural Road Construction, Improvement, and Use in Developing Countries." Rural road construction, improvement, and use in developing countries can have substantial environmental impacts that can decrease with better design and siting decisions. This webinar summarizes the findings of a literature review on the types and magnitudes of common environmental impacts and options for reducing these risks.The event will be moderated by Marcia Trump, Abt principal associate and Chief of Party, CEADIR.
